Cynthia Jensen
Cynthia Jensen is an oil painter that specializes in realism and religious themed artwork. She loves her family, the outdoors and going for long walks by the lake.
In junior high and high school, she had wonderful art teachers that were very influential and helped her to develop her talents in wheel thrown pottery and painting.
Inspired by her art teachers, she decided to study art education and attended The University of Utah and has dedicated her life to working with children. She has taught art privately as well as in a public-school setting. Cynthia now works from her home studio in Arizona, overlooking beautiful Lake Havasu.
She has entered her work in many shows and has won multiple awards including many first-place awards. In 2019 Cynthia wrote, illustrated, and published a children’s book titled, "The Tiniest Little Star”, a book about loving ourselves and not bullying, which she also later published in Spanish. It has blessed the lives of many children, including her own grandchildren. Cynthia has always had a true passion for motherhood, and family. As she creates her art, her prayer is that it will always bring joy to the lives of those who experience it.
